Habitat # 501: Transit Homes
As a transit apartment for the century old Group the space was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of the English country style. The basic volume of the space is kept muted while an intricate false ceiling pattern is laid out on the ceiling. The carpentry compliments the English styling, however to keep the small pace looking fresh the woodwork is lacquered to a egg white.
The furniture is simple and ergonomic chosen to provide utmost comfort, while the exquisite choice of art and rare carpets complete the otherwise muted space to create a sense understated luxury.
